Well the 15th of May has come and gone and we are all still waiting for warm weather. Our first official ride of the season was cloudy and cold which helped keep attendance down.
   Several people attended the 444 Chapter signing; a few took the bikes on a very cold Saturday.
   The next weekend we had very good turn out for the 423 Chapter signing up in St. Joseph, no bikes on this day, as a late spring snow storm kept them in the garage.
   The group made Hitching Post Motorsports in Fridley our primary supporting dealer and held our first meeting there this last Wednesday. The first and third Wednesday of each month will be a rep night at Hitching Post, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend the rep night; it is designed to promote both our chapter and Hitching Post.
   A new 292 Chapter t-shirt design was approved by STAR International, so we are in the process of placing a t-shirt order. The t-shirts will be $15.00 per. Please talk to Carolyn Merk to order yours. This order will be a 50 shirt minimum so it could be a while before we order again. Note: (you must be a chapter member to order a t-shirt)
   Remember the next official ride is May 17th , the Hutchinson DQ ride. It looks at this time like the weather will finally cooperate. There is a rumor that the weather might be nice (warm), but remember that is only a rumor.
   I hope everyone is having a good spring and I am looking forward to a nice summer riding season. See everyone on the 17th.
